Still Alive...

There's been no update lately because we are on vacation so I haven't been anywhere near a computer these days... I'm falling behind in my blog reading as well...

To make it up to you, here's a little joke.

This three years old boy is taking a bath.
He points at his testicules and asks his mum:
-"Is this my brain?"
To which she replies:
-"Not yet dear."

Have a great summer holiday!!!

Women

We are in 2005. What if i told you that a company would not hire a female executive. They'd refuse to do it simply because she was a woman. The company would claim that it was founded by a man and that it had always been led by men so it would therefore be impossible to have a female in a key position. They would also claim that it would be inconceivable for their employees to follow orders given by a woman. This same company would even boast about this in the press. What would you think about this company? Would you think they're retarded & sexist? Would you still buy its products? Would you encourage the woman to press charges against this company for gender discrimination?

Yet the Catholic church still denies women of priesthood. How can people still follow this religion & what their leaders are saying when they are obviously proving that they're all about power (not soul-saving). How come our modern, democratic government is not pressing charges against the obvious discrimination the church practices? The Anglican church may have allowed women as priests but they are still barring them from powerful position within the church. I encourage you to read a BBC News article which is quite shocking to me. Here are some excerpts:

Women bishops vote angers critics

The Church of England's decision to remove the legal blocks stopping women being ordained as bishops threatens its future existence, critics are warning.

Some traditionalists have warned they may convert to Roman Catholicism in protest at the vote in York.

Supporters of women priests believe it is illogical and unfair to continue to bar them from becoming bishops. But opponents argue there is no biblical precedent for women bishops, as Christ's apostles were all male.

They also think it is wrong for women to have authority over men in a religious capacity.

Trouvez l'erreur...

En écoutant France Info:

"... l'explosion a fait 1 blessé, dont 2 touristes étrangers..."

Gwen pense que s'était peut-être des jumeaux siamois.

While listening to the radio:

"...the explosion has made 1 wounded, of which 2 are foreigners..."

Gwen thinks it may be siamese twins;

Basta Ya!

Yesterday my husband and I were discussing which animal we were the most scared of.
My answer was humans.

Sadly, i was proven right again today...

Mon mari et moi discutions hier soir des animaux qui nous effrayaient le plus.
J'ai dis que s'était les humains.

Malheureusement, j'ai eu la confirmation aujourd'hui que j'avais bien raison.

Peace...
